Exploring Watercolor: COLOR!

We will explore color theory and mixing in Jan and Feb 2012. Classes will consist of a color exercise, time for individual experimentation and individual attention and assistance. $25 per class or $80 when paying for all classes in Jan (4, 11, 18, & 25) and $105 when paying for all classes in Feb (1, 8, 15, 22, & 29). Bring your own supplies or let me know if you need them. Occasional material fee of $2 to cover cost of copies. Classes are Wednesdays 9-11AM at pARTiculars, 401 S. Public Rd, Lafayette. Kid’s Afterschool Class

Learn to paint with watercolor with Molly Hargarten and Jackie Friesth: $25 per session and $12 material fee. Materials will be supplied by instructors.
Scratch, Flick and Splatter: Play with fun ways to paint- ever use bubble wrap as a paint brush? $25 a session plus $12 material fee. Materials supplied by instructor. Molly & Jackie.

Join Donna and Molly for an afternoon of fun, community, creativity and FOOD. Bring your supplies, a project to work on, a friend and a sense of fun and experimentation. Join other artists for an informal session of painting/creating, support and refreshments. Molly & Donna will provide food & wine and an occasional demo when requested. This is a one session class to introduce you, the ‘aspiring’ artist, to the materials, techniques and joy of painting with watercolor. Learn about necessary supplies, how to mix and apply paint, and how to use brushes. Plus, splash, play and experiment with this versatile medium. All materials provided. Class cost: $25. Ever feel challenged when faced with painting water? Don’t know how to get the effects that you want? This class is for you.
